A short story about a man who was allowed back into Eden after it was decided he had overcome corruption.
Was it any good?
Yeah, I guess. Not my favorite, but it's better than I used to write.
Write poetry?
Any time I get a good idea.
Angsty poetry?
Not since I realized how generic it is.
Favourite genre of writing?
Science Fiction, I guess. Although fantasy is a close second.
Most fun character youve ever created?
Leroux Garcon (Larry), a 5'0" red-head sophomore boy who looks and acts like a complete nerd but has always dreamed of being a drummer in a punk-rock band.
Most annoying character youve ever created?
...I don't find my characters annoying, really... Except for maybe one, Eamon, a 40-year-old woman who was always crying because she blamed herself for her husband's death. Yeah... That must have been during my "emo phase."
Best plot youve ever created?
Definitely the one for this one-on-one roleplay I had with my best friend. We called it "The Facility," and it was about these people stuck inside a strange C.I.A. facility where the humans were trying to breed the perfect living weapon using cross-breeds. It was pretty epic.
Coolest plot twist youve ever created?
I'm not too good with coming up with plot twists... just laying the tracks for them. I guess it would have to be when this group of people was searching for an object to save their home land from an invading evil, and they went on this huge journey across the world, when it turned out what they searched for was where they started, and the person they worked for was leading the evil into their land... But it was a really old story, and it sucked.
How often do you get writers block?
Not very often... I just usually don't feel like writing, and blame it on writer's block when people ask.
Write fan fiction?
Nope. I've roleplayed Wolf's Rain and The Wheel of Time, but never fan fiction.
Do you type or write by hand?
Except for with short stories that aren't background stories for my characters, I always write by hand first and then type it up. It just feels like I have more control over the way things look and feel when I write by hand.
Do you save everything you write?
I think so... There's maybe just one or two things I've thrown out, but everything else is crumpled in a ball somewhere, or in some notebook on my bookshelf.
Do you ever go back to an idea after youve abandoned it?
I don't think I ever have. Usually if I can't get it right the first two or three times, I won't be able to get it out.
Whats your favourite thing youve written?
Definitely my poem "1,000,000 Heartbeats," although it needs a better title, and my novel, "Spirit Master," takes close second.
Whats everyone elses favourite story that youve written?
I don't know, actually... Most of my stories are too long, so people never finish them, and then they don't tell me what they think...
Do you ever show people your work?
Usually. If I like it, it's bound to show up on DeviantArt. That counts, right?
Did you ever write a novel?
I abandoned one attempt that was started when I was 11, called "A Fairy Tale." Now I'm in the process of writing "Spirit Master," although I'm not very far...
Ever written romance or angsty teen drama?
Yeah, most of my older stories revolve around romance. I have one with teen drama, called "One Week," but it sucks. And I'm ashamed.
Whats your favourite setting for your characters?
I'm most comfortable with castles or manors in medieval time periods, simply because I know how to describe what's there. Plus for some reason, it feels more natural to give their speech that medieval twinge. Although sometimes modern settings come out all right.
How many writing projects are you working on right now?
Hum. Not counting school stuff? ...One. "Spirit Master."
Do you want to write for a living?
Yes, definitely. (You know, I think I might just learn how to spell definitely by the end of this!)
Have you ever won an award for your writing?
Yeah, I managed to get my poem "Dreams of Peace" published in my local newspaper after I won a contest held by the public library. They also gave me an MP3 player, but since I already had an iPod, I gave it to my sister.
Ever written anything in script or play format?
The Canterbury Tales. School project.
What are your five favourite words?
Oh, jeeze only five?! Umm... Isolation, bibliophile, pneumonic, vociferous, hyacinth. Not necessarily in that order.
Do you ever write based on yourself?
No, everything comes straight from my head.
What character have you created that is most like yourself?
Larry, I guess. When my friends read his description, they instantly decided that he sounded like a short, male version of me.
Where do you get ideas for your characters?
They make themselves. I don't really know... It comes to me, and they demand I tell their story, I suppose.
Do you ever write based on your dreams?
No. My dreams are mostly blurbs that make little cohesive sense or they're just me getting ready for school. I never have anything lucid enough to make a story out of.
Do you favor happy endings, sad endings or cliff-hangers?
Sad endings, because nobody sees them coming. Happy endings have become cliche over the years, and cliff-hangers just make me and my ever-curious mind extremely pissed off.
Have you ever written based on an artwork youve seen?
No, I don't think so... I've based characters off of paintings done by Nene Thomas, though.
Are you concerned with spelling and grammar as you write?
Yes. Unless there is an obvious purpose for misspellings and grammatical errors, I'm a complete grammar and spelling nazi.
Ever write anything in chat-speak (how r u?)
Not since I quit playing Rune Scape and started roleplaying.
Was that question appalling and unwriterly?
Yes. What kind of writer would write in chat-speak, except for purely poetic reasons? It only exemplifies the excessive laziness of the author.
Does music help you write?
...It doesn't detract, if that answers your question.
Quote something youve written. Whatever pops into your head.
"The frost came early this year,
killing the roses you labored all summer
just to smell.
I stood at the window this morning,
watching
as ebony petals fell upon frozen ground."

I like the sailing teaming.
Well, it's true that the moon could pull it back far away from me.
I like the orphan sea.
Well, we were never invisible but I guess that we cannot see:
We'll get crushed by the ocean
But it will not get us wet.
